Mom Win TSV Asia 2021 Smule Sing Live Speculation Event

A. General Provisions

  1. This event is called by the title “Mom Win TSV Asia 2021 Smule Sing Live Speculation Event” (hereinafter referred to as “The Event“);
  2. This event is organized by TSVLive Management Indonesia and is fully sponsored by TSV Pty Ltd Australia;
  3. This Event will be using an online application namely “Smule” (works on most modern Android and iOS devices) and all the features in it, including the Sing Live Video feature;
  4. Smule Group is a one of smule feature allows all users to open and manage their own group in the smule with all rules that provide by smule.
  5. Sing Live known as “LiveJam”, Starting August 4th, LiveJam will become Sing Live and transition to an audio and video experience, accessible to VIP users through ‘Groups’ only. VIP group members will be able to start and join live sessions exclusively through their group’s profile page. This added measure will allow for better screening of users that participate in a live video environment.
  6. Contestants in this Event are smule users who have nationality and or citizenship in countries on the Asia continent;
  7. All Contestants must be 18 years old +;
  8. The language used in the event is English;
  9. Time Zone will apply in this Event is GMT +7, all Contestants must synchronize with each local time.
  10. Rewards are in the form of “Money” with IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) currency apply;
  11. Regulations are made for orderliness, The Organizers have the rights to modify the rules in order to good intention of this Event;
  12. All Contestants considered to have been known with all the existing Rules & Regulation. Please read it carefully and please ask if you have any questions.

B. Contestants Requirements

  1. Have Nationality and or Citizenship in the countries of the continent of Asia;
  2. VIP Smule users;
  3. Able to use all the features in the Smule Apps especially the Sing Live feature;
  4. Must be 18 years old +;
  5. Must understand English Language;
  6. Have an adequate internet connection, related to the Sing Live Video feature need good internet connection for better result and or output;
  7. Must have a LINE ID.
  8. Read, understand and comply with all the rules of this Event;

C. The Event

  1. The Event will be start with the Prelimination Session in 4 genre series to the Semi Final Session. And the best of the Series will be compete in the All Genre Final Session;
  2. The Event will be using Smule application (IOS and Android) and all its features on it, mostly but not limited the using of the feature of Smule Sing Live Video;
  3. The Event will also use LINE application, for group coordination of the Contestant;
  4. The Event will use another platform for Information Distribution such as Website and Youtube;
  5. The 4 Genre Series of the Event are:
    1. Pop Series;
    2. Jazz Series;
    3. Country Series;
    4. Rock Series.
  6. The Sessions of the Event are:
    1. Prelimination, in form of Submission of Sing Live Video Saved or Recorded;
    2. Semi Final, in form of Sing Live Performances on the Semi Final Room of the Event;
    3. Final, in form of Sing Live Performances on the Final Room of the Event.
  7. The Songs that Contestant must be sing or perform are:
    1. Prelimination, 1 song;
    2. Semi Final, 2 songs;
    3. Final, 4 songs.
  8. The Rewards of this Event
    1. 1st place, The Best of All Genre, The 1st Winner: IDR15,000,000 (Fifteen Million Rupiah);
    2. 2nd place, The Runner Up, The 2nd Winner: IDR10,000,000 (Ten Million Rupiah);
    3. 3rd place, The 3rd Winner: IDR5,000,000 (Five Million Rupiah);
    4. 4th place, IDR1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah);
    5. 5th place, IDR1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah);
    6. 6th place, IDR1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah);
    7. 7th place, IDR1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah);
    8. 8th place, IDR1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah);
    9. 9th place, IDR1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah);

D. 4 Genre Series

  1. This event is held in 4 Series Genres with each have 2 sessions in it with the following explanations:
    1. POP Series
      1. Prelimination Session: March 1 to 6, 2021;
      2. “Pass to Semi Final” Announcement: March 9, 2021;
      3. Semi Final Session: March 13 and 14, 2021;
    2. JAZZ Series
      1. Prelimination Session: March 8 to 13, 2021;
      2. “Pass to Semi Final” Announcement: March 16, 2021;
      3. Semi Final Session: March 20 and 21, 2021;
    3. COUNTRY Series
      1. Prelimination Session: March 15 to 20, 2021;
      2. “Pass to Semi Final” Announcement: March 23, 2021;
      3. Semi Final Session: March 27 and 28, 2021;
    4. ROCK Series
      1. Prelimination Session: March 22 to 27, 2021;
      2. “Pass to Semi Final” Announcement: March 30, 2021;
      3. Semi Final Session: April 3 and 4, 2021;
  2. Contestant may freely choose 1 song at Prelimination Session and 2 songs at Semi Final Session to sing solo;
  3. Song lists for all genres will be published on February 20, 2021 in this website;
  4. All songs must be presented in their original music arrangements and keys;
  5. The Best of 3 of the contestant of each Semi Finals will proceed to the Final Round;
  6. Contestants may participate in more than 1 genre series in the Prelimination and Semi Final Session. If they succeed in reaching the Final Round, contestants must choose only 1 (one) genre to be used as a basis.

Please find below the schedules for each series.

E. Prelimination

  1. Prelimination is a session as the initial stage of each Series;
  2. Each series has its own preliminary schedule;
  3. In Prelimination session Contestant must submit to Organizer a “Sing Live Video Recorded (Saved)”. Unfortunately, the Sing Live Video Save feature now only apply or available in the Smule application with iOS devices (Apple iPhones).
  4. As for your information, to use the feature of Sing Live Video Saved in Smule there are some sort of rules and conditions apply by Smule as follow:
    1. You must be registered as member of a Smule Group. You may create your own Group or you may join existing Group created by others.
    2. You must have VIP membership;
    3. After all the requirements above mentioned ready, make sure you have good internet connection, and then You can do this following steps to be able to do Sing Live Video Saved / Recorded:
      1. You may open your own room or enter existing room that have been opened by other users. Our Suggestion that you open your own room, because you need to be focus;
      2. When you open your own room, after the open room initiation step, automatically you already holding the microphone and ready to pick the song and sing. But if you join others Room, after you are already in the room, you may choose microphone button ( right corner below ) to be on the waiting list, waiting others in the line to have a chance to sing holding the microphone. As our previous suggestion would be better you open your own room, because you need to be focus and time is essential;
      3. When you are on your turn to holding the microphone in the room or you automatically on holding microphone when you open your own room, you may learn all the menu button shown, when you are holding the microphone, the menu will be difference shown if you are in audience position;
      4. Be prepare of all the Requirements we apply in this Event before you choose the song you will sing and you can contionue.
      5. Choose 1 song as listed in our list for the series you choose. When you choose the song the recorded is already start. Keep silent until the song is loaded. When its loaded, you may apply the requirements we ask in the rules.
      6. After the singing is finished, you choose “stops” button below and there will be a notification asking whether Sing Live will be saved or not? Please choose Save;
      7. Sing Live Video Saved requires some time (according to the participant’s internet connection condition) to appear on the participant’s channel;
      8. If the recording shown on your channel please check if the recording Video has a good result and is ready to submit.
    4. To participate in this Prelimination session there are some notes, provisions or requirements you must be follow:
      1. Read each series schedule and choose any series you want to join, create the Sing Live Video Saved on the date range on each series. You may only sing Live Video on the date determined by the Organizer for each Series.
      2. Choose 1 song from the list provided. Practice and prepare before you record your Sing Live Video. We already provide the songs in the list that you may be choose and or sing in the Prelimination Session and Semi Final.
      3. Before you submitting your Sing Live Video Recorded you must be joined our Official Group Live Jam Indonesia.
      4. You must be prepare for the following conditions: (this provision also applies during the Semi Final and Final)
        1. Dress appropriately during all rounds. The organizer entitled to provide you a warning to the contestants if they wear inappropriate outfit;
        2. Good Internet connection;
        3. Apply a plain background (any color) or pattern of color;
        4. Lighting is properly fit the video;
        5. Try to avoid unwanted noise during recording;
        6. Apply good audio devices such as earset/headsets/handsfree with good microphone. You allow to use any type of microphone.
        7. Good visuals. Contestants must appear in the closest position to the half body and microphones or other equipment and/or hands must not block or cover the mouth;
        8. Do not wear black sunglasses;
        9. Do not smoking during the performance;
        10. Audio Effect: freely customizable;
        11. Video Filter: Use No Filter.
      5. Prepare yourself and pick the right song. Tips: You may Bookmark The Song, help you to easy load before you sing. When you pick the song from the list, the recording / saved is already automatically start;
      6. After the song is completely loading, before you sing, you may apply as follow:
        1. Greeting Speech in Your native language;
        2. Greeting Speech in English language.
      7. Do the best singing performance and after you sing please apply as follow:
        1. Say your smule ID;
        2. State your Origin Country;
      8. After that, You may “Save” the Sing Live and wait until they appear on Your channel. Make sure the Sing Live results are in good condition before submitting.
      9. When your Sing Live Video appear on your Channel list, please apply this as follow:
        1. In the Song Caption / Description provide the following information:
          1. Type your smule ID;
          2. Type your country origin;
          3. Type General Hashtag #tsvlive #tsvasia2021
          4. Type Series Hashtag fit with the series you want to submit: #tsvpop/#tsvjazz/#tsvcountry/#tsvrock
        2. In the Comments section, provide the following information:
          1. Mention Admin Smule ID Assigned on the series you submit (please check series flyer)
          2. Mention Prelimination Judges Smule ID
          3. Mention your 5 friends smule ID
      10. Inbox the Admin Smule ID Assigned on the series you submit and share your Sing Live Video Saved.
      11. After the You submit the Sing Live Video Saved, the Admin will make the following confirmations:
        1. Admin will check the completeness of recording whether it is in accordance with the requirements. If not, the admin will remind you;
        2. Admin will give notification that recording is complete and ready to be checked; The admin will notify other parties not to write in the comments before the preliminary jury gives a mark of check.
        3. Recording will be checked by the Prelimination Judge and will be given a mark when it has been checked.
        4. Admin will provide information that the recording has been checked and is waiting for the results of the announcement on a certain date on the official and Youtube accounts. Admin will provide information that outside parties are allowed to write comments.
        5. The best of 25 of contestants qualify to the semifinals.
        6. The assessment was carried out by the Prelimination Judge. Assessment process is closed and confidential and the results will be announced as date on schedule;
        7. Announcement of the 25 best contestants will be openly publish on the official TSV Smule Account @tsvlive account and on TSVLive Media’s Youtube on the date mentioned on each Series;
        8. Admin will provide notification in the comments section if You pass the qualification to the Semi Final;
        9. The Judges’ Decisions are Final and cannot be compared with others;
        10. The best 25 contestants who pass immediately contact the Organizer admin to submit the ID Line to be registered for their respective Group Semi Finalist Series.

For Smule Android users, please read note below*
Note: For Smule Android User New Policy (release 08-02-2121) related to the Sing Live Video Save as requirement as “Entry” Video for this Event:

  1. For Smule “Android” user, The Organizer release a “Policy” as follow: in order to have sing live video save, The Android user is may and or allowed to have a partner with smule “IoS (Iphone)” user in Sing Live Video Room will be conduct as “Host” (in the left), so the sing live video can be save.
  2. There for there will be additional rules may apply as follow:
    1. All requirements on previously rules still apply;
    2. Ios Smule user only conduct as helper of android user so partner can not sing along or make any sound, with the android user in the video and partner can not be seen in the recording, so the organizer may determine the real participant;
    3. If there are any disturbing conditions may arise in the recording video, that would be Participant own risks;
    4. In the Smule User Channel, there will be two ID Smule as singers in the recording so:
      1. Only 1 (one) smule ID user may registered as participants, partner will be “exclude” as participant;
      2. Only the Android user conduct as participant writes on the description and comments as in the rules of the Sing Live Video Save Requirements;
      3. Only the Android user may contact the Admin on Duty;

F. Semifinals

Pre Semifinal

  1. That the the best 25 of the contestants in the Preliminary session will continue to the Semi Final session;
  2. Semi Finalist Contestants will be invite by the Admin to join LINE Group (by the series submit) to facilitate coordination during the Semi Final;
  3. Contestants are expected to be invited and join a maximum of 1×24 hours after the announcement of preliminary qualification;
  4. Contestants must have read the Semi Final Rules on the Organizer’s website, Contestants will be given instructions and regulations related to holding the Live Semi Final stage on the Group;
  5. Admin will conduct video “Live Drawn” in order to determine “the order” of Contestant to perform in the days of Semi Final session;
  6. The order of Semi Final Contestant as a result of Admin Drawn, cannot be changed and will be written and shared in the group so that the contestants can prepare themselves to perform in the Semi Final;

During the Semi Final

  1. The Semi Finals will be hold at the Smule Live Jam Indonesia room
  2. Contestants will be invited to enter the room at 8.30 am before the Semi Finals start.
  3. The Semi Finals will be hold for 2 (two) days;
  4. Semi Final starts at 09.00 (GMT + 7) contestants may adjust their own Time Zone;
  5. Contestants must obey the Semi Finals Rules;
  6. The Final Assessment will be conducted by 2 Organizing Judges: Mom Win & Opa as TSV Pty Ltd representative;
  7. In the Semi Final will be determined the best 3 of the Contestants who will continue to the Final stage which will be announced in the room on the last day of the Semi Final;

Rules for Semi Final Contestants

  1. Contestants must be prepare with a good and stable internet connection;
  2. Contestants must be prepare to perform as the order as the result of the Drawn;
  3. The Room Host will call Contestants as the order, to be prepare, to be on the waiting list, to hold the microphone.
  4. The Room Host will call the Contestant and the Contestant must reply the call by writing the comment on the Room.
    1. If the Contestant not reply the call, even though the Contestant ID is in the list Room Audience, after being call 3 times repeatedly, The Organizer may assume that The Contestant being call is Self Resign;
    2. If a contestant is absent or a contestant is present (ID is in the Semi Final room), but does not respond, The Organizer may assume that The Contestant being call is Self Resign;
    3. If the contestant is not present, either has given permission to the Organizer, but already at the time of the order of appearance, The Organizer may assume that The Contestant being call is Self Resign;
    4. The contestant in the next order must be ready to perform;
    5. If there is any Contestant, if already call and holding the microphone ready to perform and or while in the middle of performing, “drop” or “left room” or “lag/freeze” by itself:
      1. Happens on the beginning or first 1/3 to first half of the performances, Judges will give the contestant another chance (2x). If the contestant at the third try still have the same problem, Judges with their rights consideration may allow to slide the order of performances to the last number performances, giving chances to the Contestant to repair the error;
      2. Happens more than half or 2/3 of performances, Judges with their rights consideration, the Contestant may be assumed already fully perform;
    6. If there is any Contestant, in the time of his/her performance, “lag” or “freeze” or in any forms of problem, as result of receiving notification or answering calls in the same device use in his/her performance, Judges with the rights consideration, may assumed the Contestant “fail to perform” and considered as Self Resign from the Event;
    7. The Judges of The Organizer has the authority to declare that the Contestant is Self Resign from the Event;
    8. The Judges of The Organizer has the rights and authority to make any decision and or any consideration in order to make the event in good conditions.
  5. Contestants must enter the Semifinal room 30 minutes before the event starts, and contestants are expected to be in the room to watch other Contestants performances until the end of the session;
  6. Contestants who due to “special” circumstances leave the room must seek permission from the admin and the admin will confirm the request for permission before the Competitor can leave the Semi Final room. This special permit is only given for a maximum period of 1 hour. The Contestant is expected to understand the order of appearances before applying for a permit, if the Contestant has not performed before appearing, and when the Competitor is called, is not present then the Competitor is deemed to have resigned. Application for Permission and its consequences shall be a consequence of the Contestant;
  7. The Organizer has the right to grant disqualification status if any Contestant does not comply with the Semi Final Event rules;
  8. Contestants who due to a “general” condition such as Refresh (leaving the room to refresh the application) simply notify the Organizer admin in the room;
  9. Contestants and visitors are prohibited from writing any comments and / or giving GIFTS in the room when the contestants sing (either 1 song or 2 songs at once) in order to make good environment so the contestants can focus without interruption. The comments and gifts may affect on the smoothness of performance connection of the Contestant. There will be a time after the contestant sings, the contestant must state the contestant’s ID and Country of Origin and at that time condition, audiences may apply any comments and gift to support contestant;
  10. Only the admin may provide comments in the room only for event coordination;
  11. In the Semi Final, Contestant must sing 2 songs assign by the Organizer;
  12. There are several “break time” may apply during the Semi Finals and Final session as follows:
    1. Indonesia Lunch Break 12.00 WIB up to 13.00 WIB;
    2. Short Break I: 15.00 WIB to 15.30WIB
    3. Short Break II: 18.00 WIB to 18.30
    4. Short Break III (if needed if the event lasts until evening) 21.00 WIB
  13. Judge will be determine the best of 3 of the Contestant qualify to pass to the Final Session;

Announcement

  1. The announcement of the 3 best of the contestants will be made at the end of the Semi Final time at the Top Semi Final session;
  2. At the time of the announcement, 3 contestant IDs who passed to the Final stage will be read out;
  3. Contestants who qualify must be in the Semi Final room, if the contestant is not in the Room then the Jury can cancel their pass and can determine other contestants who qualify for the next Final stage;
  4. The best 3 of the contestants after being called by the host appropriately for 3 times, the Contestant not responding, The Organizer may considered that the Contestant ID Mentioned have Resigned the Event and the jury can overrule The decision and can decide the best other contestant to continue to the next final stage;
  5. The best 3 of the contestants are required to sing live performance once again in front of the all Audiences and the Judge by singing the song that was delivered in the previously in the Semi Final.
  6. The Jury’s decision is absolute and cannot be compared;
  7. The 3 best contestants will be invited to enter the Final contestant Group waiting for the predetermined Final appearance time.

G. Final

Pre Final

  1. That the 3 best contestants in the Semi Final stage will continue to the Final session;
  2. Finalist Contestants will be invite by the Admin to join LINE Finalist Group to facilitate coordination during the Final;
  3. Contestants must have read the Final Rules on the Organizer’s website, Contestants will be given instructions and regulations related to holding the Live Performance Final stage on the Group;
  4. Admin will conduct video “Live Drawn” in order to determine “the order” of Contestant to perform in the days of Final session;
  5. The order of Semi Final Contestant as a result of Admin Drawn, cannot be changed and will be written and shared in the group so that the contestants can prepare themselves to perform in the Final;
  6. Final contestants will be inform 4 songs that will be sing in the live final performance at the Final;
  7. The organizer has the right to determine the song title, number of songs, and song requirements that are required to be sung at the final;
  8. Contestants are given 5 days to learn the song;
  9. Contestants are expected to prepare everything before the Final.

During the Final

  1. The Final will be hold at the Smule Live Jam Indonesia Room;
  2. Contestants will be invited to enter the room at 8.30 am before the Final start.
  3. The Final will be hold for 2 (two) days;
  4. Final starts at 09.00 (GMT + 7) contestants may adjust their own Time Zone;
  5. Contestants must obey the Finals Rules;
  6. The Final Assessment will be conducted by 2 Organizing Judges: Mom Win & Opa as TSV Pty Ltd representative;
  7. In the Final will be determine the best 3 of the Contestants who will be Rewards as the Winner of The Event and will be announce on the last day of Final;

Final Rules

  1. Contestants must be prepare with a good and stable internet connection;
  2. Contestants must be prepare to perform as the order as the result of the Drawn;
  3. The Room Host will call Contestants as the order, to be prepare, to be on the waiting list, to hold the microphone.
  4. The Room Host will call the Contestant and the Contestant must reply the call by writing the comment on the Room.
    1. If the Contestant not reply the call, even though the Contestant ID is in the list Room Audience, after being call 3 times repeatedly, The Organizer may assume that The Contestant being call is Resign from the Event;

  5. The best 3 of the contestants are required to sing live performance once again in front of the all Audiences and the Judge by singing the song that was delivered in the previously in the Final.
  6. The Jury’s decision is absolute and cannot be compared;
  7. The 3 best contestants will be nominate as the winner and will receive rewards from the Organizer.

H. Judges and Adjudications

About the Judges / Jury

  1. The selection and or The Determination and or The Placement of Judges is entirely the authority of the TSV Pty Ltd as a sole Sponsor;
  2. The Jury or Judges are persons who has knowledge and experience in Vocal and Music Development;

General Terms of Assessment / Adjudication

  1. The assessment will be carried out using a closed scoring system;
  2. The Jury’s decision on each session in this Event is “Final” and cannot be compared with any other assessment;

Adjudication Parameter

General Parameter of Vocal Adjudication will apply.

  1. Quality of Sound
    Pitch Accuracy, Pitch Consistency, Clarity, Resonance, Register Control, Blend & Balance, Focus and Energy;
  2. Technical
    Rhythm, Tempo, Attacks, Release, Accuracy, Phrasing, Diction, Pronunciation and Enunciation;
  3. Musicality
    Interpretation, Expressivity, Emotional and Improvisation;
  4. Visual Performance
    Attitude, General Conduct, Appearance, Posture, Confidence and Facial Expression.

I. Rewards and Distributions

  • Rewards will be sent in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) currency from Organizer’s bank Account to The Winners’ bank account;
  • Rewards delivery is done by sending money and/or transferring money between the organizer’s bank account and the recipient’s bank account;
  • Rewards will be sent the next day after the winner sends the winner’s account details, the Organizer will send proof of delivery or proof of transfer to the recipient’s account;

J. Room Rules for Audience

  1. Smule users who are not contestants are allowed to attend the SEMI FINAL and FINAL, watch and or give support to their friends who appear as contestants;
  2. Semi Final and final rooms will be held at the TSVLive Official Group named: Smule Live Jam Indonesia;
  3. To be able to enter the room, visitors must join the official group: Smule Live Jam Indonesia (Open Group for everyone). Visitors must be VIP otherwise they cannot enter the room (Smule Rules);
  4. Visitors come with the good intention of watching the Semi Finals and / or Finals;
    1. Audience Smule ID does not contain bad or rude words;
    2. Use kind and polite words;
    3. Age over 18 years of age;
    4. No chat (writing in the room) and gifts while the contestant sings either 1 song or more at once;
      The Audiences may give the support with any comments or gift, after the contestants have completed their performance;
    5. Visitors / Audiences are assume to already know the rules;
    6. If there are any violation, the Organizer Room Administration have the rights to:
      1. Politely warn and or notify the visitors not to repeat the violation;
      2. If the Visitor / Audience specific received notification from the Room administration, still repeat the violation, Room Admin will remove the specific Visitor from the Room. The Organizer have the full rights to conduct any actions in order to make the Event running well.

  1. I am not a smule user, can I join this Event?
    Unfortunately, you need to be a Smule user and must activate your VIP.
  2. Do I have to pay some amount to join this Event?
    You don’t have to pay anything; you only need to follow all requirements needed for this event.
  3. How many sessions will apply for this Event?
    Totally we will apply 3 sessions: Prelimination, Semi Final and Final. Prelimination and Semi Final Session will apply in the each Series, and Final Session will apply at the last session.
  4. I want to join this Event, do I have to register?
    Just submit your “Sing Live Video Save / Register” in each series, to our admin, automatically you registered yourself.
  5. Can I join more than 1 series?
    You can join more than 1 series, feel free to join : Pop, Jazz, Country dan Rock.
  6. I’m not a participant, can I see how this event going?
    On Prelimination session, you may check on each Sing Live Video submitted by applying hashtag on your search bar #tsvlive2021. In the Semi Final and Final Sessions, you may enter our room on our Group’s Profile : Smule Live Jam Indonesia (kasih link), and you can watch they Live Performance.
  7. If I win this Event, can I received it in USD?
    Our rewards is in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), conversion may apply depends on your bank account, we send it in IDR currency.

Mom Win Smule Live Jam Speculation Event Indonesia 2020 is a singing competition event created in a series of music genre series (pop, duet, dangdut, jazz, rock n roll, hard rock, reggae, etc.) for Indonesian Smule users, which has been going on since the beginning 2020 until the middle of the year. This event is a fairly large competition event that has ever taken place on the Smule application which is carried out in “Realtime” through the Livejam feature (now the feature is called Sing Live) which is attended by hundreds of smule user contestants from Indonesia.
